Preheat oven to 350 Degrees F 1. Boil water in a sauce pan 2. When brought to a full boil steam cook the broccoli. I used about 2 lbs in this recipe 3. chop one onion and about 3-4 cloves of garlic. Saute them on medium high heat and then add the grounded meat. To make your meat slightly moist add in about 1-3 tablespoons of cold water and mix it with the meat before adding it to the frying pan. 4. Cook the meat with the onions and the garlic, once cooked remove from heat and set aside. 5. When your broccoli is soft enough for you to mash it, remove it from heat into a large bowl and mash it then add in the meat and mix it, You can add green olives at this stage I usually do as well, it takes this dish to a whole new level I promise 6. Add the spices: one and half tsp salt half tsp black pepper half tsp cumin half tsp cinnamon 7. Mix everything together and let it cool 8. Once cooled add the eggs and cheese of your choice. I used 5 eggs for this quantity. Your casserole needs to be soft but not too runny. It should resemble a thick cake batter. Before you add the eggs, remember to taste your casserole and see if you need to make any changes. 9. Mix everything well, grease an oven pan, and pour your mixture as evenly as possible 10. You don't have to top it with anything, but you can also top it with cheese, bread crumbs or few onions or all of the above 11. Serve it warm, with bread, by itself, with a salad or a rice side dish. Bon Apetite!
